The Business of Patient Care

Where do you draw the line between business and health care.
A great conversation I had with a patient just the other day. Are the recommendations being made for business gain or with the intent of what the individual patient needs.
By nature, it cannot be cookie cutter since people react differently from a textbook definition. What should have been a 12 session problem maybe resolved in 6 and vice versa.
At First Line we aim to gauge the patient's response to their first treatment to give us (the patient and provider) a better idea on how they responded to treatment. This may mean a care plan that is not delivered on Day 1 after the exam but maybe 24-48 hours after a follow up call to see how the patient is doing. You are more than an injury and we all react differently.
Your recommendations to care should reflect that.
Yours Truly,
Dr. Kevin Rosario
