Become more Capable with Strength and Conditioning training


When you sit down and think of getting into shape what is your reason? When you go beyond the aesthetics - I believe it comes down to being more capable.


Having the ability to able to perform when necessary is empowering. Going up flights of stairs or running after your child and not being out of breathe is empowering. Lifting up your spouse when excited or clearing out a stone from your backyard without hurting your back is empowering.

You don’t have to be the worlds strongest or most conditioned you just have to be the best version of your self.


When training strive for these two goals.


  1. Strength Training: prioritize becoming stronger with sets of 5-6 reps and focus on compound movements.

  2. Conditioning training: make sure to do your cardio. Longer duration slow tempo, sprinting and tempo running are some good examples.


Depending on your overall goal and body preferences, exercise selection will vary and you may gravitate to a certain type of cardio.
